Sail out onto the bay -- or even under the Golden Gate to the ocean -- with up to six friends and John Wade, on his fast 40-foot cutter. John will captain you on a 4-6 hour sailing adventure from the San Francisco Marina out into the aquatic open space of the Bay. Just north of Santa Cruz, the 7,000-acre Coast Dairies property runs from the Pacific to the foot of the Santa Cruz Mountains. A3 · "Love" from Koko and membership in the Gorilla Foundation
Woodside resident Koko, the world's most famous gorilla, has created an artistic expression of "Love." This 11" x 17" original print comes with a one-year membership in the Gorilla Foundation, established in 1976 to promote the protection and preservation of gorillas. Project Koko, a primary focus of the Gorilla Foundation, involves teaching a modified form of American Sign Language to two lowland gorillas, Koko and Michael. Koko has a vocabulary of more than 1,000 words - including one of her favorites, "love."
