You are invited to join us to celebrate Committee for Green Foothills' golden anniversary with an amazing afternoon of camaraderie and festivity.
Join other environmental leaders at the breathtaking Runnymede Farm in Woodside, the center of CGF’s work to protect open space.
In addition to enjoying the fascinating artwork, scrumptious food, spectacular open space, and wonderful people, our guests will be treated to authors Jon Christensen and Lynn Stegner leading a salute to our founders and Board members through the years.

A celebration in honor of CGF's golden anniversary
2:30 - 4:30 pm
Share light refreshments, camaraderie, and festivity with friends
Choose from three different levels of self-guided loop hikes through Runnymede, where stunning sculptures are artfully interspersed among the property’s magnificent oaks, hills, creeks, trails, and forests 3:30 - 5:30 pm
Hang out in CGF’s History Corner and enjoy stories from our founders and long-time supporters about our historical campaigns and look through historical photos and documents
Visit the Inspired By Nature silent auction and bid on works by artists Dan Quinn, Linda Gass, Jacqueline Norheim, and Kit Davey, along with rare prints by Jane Gallagher
Local beer, wine, and hors d’oeuvres will be served in the meadow above the barn starting at 4:30 pm
5:30 - 6:15 pm
Be inspired by our program, hosted by Jon Christensen, Executive Director, Bill Lane Center for the American West, Stanford University, and author Lynn Stegner, daughter-in-law of CGF founder Wally Stegner.
Our celebration ends at 6:30 – until next time!

This once-in-a-lifetime event will be held on the beautiful rolling hills of Runnymede Farm, a 100-acre property owned by the Rosekrans family since 1930. Rarely open to the public, this Woodside estate is home to more 115 sculptures by renowned artists such as Jun Kaneko, Viola Frey, and Andy Goldsworthy. These stunning pieces are artfully interspersed among the property's magnificent oaks, hills, creeks, trails, and forests, creating a fascinating experience that balances nature with three-dimensional art.
