The gathering will center on the enduring nature of CGF's advocacy work -past, present, and future-
by honoring former Congressman Pete McCloskey, paying tribute to CGF's Advocates through time, and
looking to emerging plans for the next generation of CGF Advocacy.

We invite you to join us for this special celebration of Pete's environmental legacy. Referred to as one of America's
first environmental lawyers and "a maverick Republican and a Teddy Roosevelt conservationist” by

In 1969 Pete was CGF's first lawyer, fighting against power lines obstructing the viewshed of the foothills.
This early action and Pete's continuous leadership have provided inspiration to CGF over the years and continue
