Tuesday, May 10, 2005 • 6:30 - 9pm
Point Montara Lighthouse, Fog Signal Building

RSVP

Join us for a provacative evening as we watch KQED's excellent one-hour documentary film, Coastal Clash, which premiered last November to great acclaim. Coastal Clash examines the many sides of tthe struggle over land use and access on California's Coast.

We'll start out on the lighthouse deck to enjoy the sunset and drinks from the hostel coffee bar, then move into the lighthouse signal building to watch Coastal Clash.

Following the screening, CGF will host a discussion of the isssues by the film's producer Elizabeth Pepin, California Coastal Commissioner Sara Wan, and CGF Legislative Advocate Lennie Roberts.

This event is free and open to the public, but space is limited.

Please reserve your spot with CGF at 650-968-7243 or info@GreenFoothills.org.

Directions: The lighthouse is on the west side of Highway 1, seven miles north of Half Moon Bay and a half-mile south of Montara. The turn is immediately after you see the American Youth Hostel signs - watch and drive carefully. Parking is very limited; please carpool.
