2003 CGF Members' Potluck Picnic Sunday, June 22, 2003 • 10 am - 2 pm RSVP Directions to Westwind Barn Photos of the event You're invited to join the Committee for Green Foothills and friends for our 2003 Members' Potluck Picnic! We'll meet amidst the rolling oak-covered hills and friendly horses of beautiful Westwind Community Barn in Byrne Preserve.  10am - noon: Avid hiker Patty Ciesla will lead a moderately strenuous hike through Byrne Preserve. OR 11am - noon: Dan Alexander, President of Friends of Westwind Barn, will lead a kid-friendly walking tour of the Barn, equestrian facilities, and handicapped riding program. Noon: Potluck picnic lunch and meeting,
Westwind Barn Celebrate! Environmental heroine Nancy Couperus will receive an award from the Committee in recognition of her successes in protectin public open space in Los Altos Hills. We will also be honoring a special surprise guest! Please help celebrate our shared successes to protect open space throughout Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties. This event will be a great introduction to the work of CGF to protect open space -- bring a friend! Directions to Westwind Barn 27210 Altamont Road, Los Altos Hills From 280, exit Page Mill Road and head west. Follow Page Mill Road for about 2 miles, then turn left on Altamont Road. Westwind Community Barn is about a half-mile down the roald, on the right-hand side. If you are able, please park along Altamont Road and leave the parking lot for others. Parking is limited: please carpool! |
