UPCOMING CGF EVENTS!

Coyote Ridge Hike
Saturday April 17, 2010 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.

You're invited to the only hike to the top of Coyote Ridge,
with spectacular wildflowers, habitat for the threatened Bay
Checkerspot butterfly, and beautiful views of Coyote and Santa
Clara Valleys. The hike will be led by CGF Santa Clara County
Advocate Brian Schmidt and a docent from the Santa Clara
County Open Space Authority.

Space is limited to 30 hikers. RSVP to

This hike is strenuous – 800' elevation gain in a three mile round trip – and is not appropriate for children under 12.

You are invited to join us for a springtime hike up to some very special lands in southern Santa Clara County: Coyote Ridge. These lands are normally not accessible to the public and provide opportunities to view several federally listed species including the threatened Bay Checkerspot butterfly. Our group will be led by CGF Santa Clara County Advocate Brian Schmidt and a Silicon Valley Land Conservancy docent.
