Event On Friday May 18th, friends and family of Lois Crozier-Hogle, Committee for Green Foothills co-founder, gathered at the Wildcat Knoll in Rancho San Antonio to dedicate a memorial bench in her honor and celebrate her life and legacy. Lois passed away in December, 2005, after a long life dedicated to preserving open space on the Peninsula. Her work was inspirational to us all.
Loiss bench was made from recycled 1st and 2nd growth local redwood, built by Peter Garratt of Summit Springs Design. Thanks to everyone who helped make the bench possible, especially the Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District. Published Summer 2007 in Green Footnotes. Page last updated August 22, 2007. |
