CURRENT PROJECTS

Committee for Green Foothills is dedicated to protecting and preserving open space and habitat on the San Francisco Peninsula and Coastside, throughout San Mateo and Santa Clara Counties.

Without vigilance, our natural heritage — the hills, forests, creeks, and wetlands of the Peninsula — will slowly be destroyed through carelessness, indifference, and poor planning.

Our Legislative Advocates keep a sharp watch on local and regional development issues and work closely with city, county, and state officials, seeking stricter land use regulations and environmental protections. Our Advocates are vigilant, tenacious, and tough on ill-conceived developments. More...
