Volunteer Opportunities

With limited resources - time, staff and money - volunteers are crucial in any effective nonprofit organization, Committee for Green Foothills included.

At Committee for Green Foothills, our amazing volunteers help us with a variety of projects, including photography, organizing events, fundraising, mailings and event tabling. Yet there's always more that could be done. From one-time projects to on-going office needs, projects await anyone with time.

Current Volunteer Opportunities

Special event support
Play a key role at our upcoming events! Event planning volunteers can help in vital areas such as community outreach and securing in-kind donations. And we need event-day volunteers to help with things like event setup and teardown, registration, tabling, decorations and signage, nametags, photography, videography, and more.

Legislative Activist
Get directly involved in our advocacy. Work with our advocates to coordinate letters to the editor, input for legislators, county supervisors, city councils, and/or speak at public hearings.

Mapper
We are looking for a volunteer with talents in the graphic arts to create maps for various projects.

For more information about these opportunities, please email Volunteer@GreenFoothills.org or call (650) 968-7243.
