We’re proud to be a part of Earth Day and the Great Race to Save Water.
To celebrate Earth Day, enjoy a guided bird walk around the Palo Alto Baylands. Join us on this family friendly 3-mile walk led by docents from the Santa Clara Valley Audubon Society who’ll teach us about the flora and fauna of the Palo Alto Baylands. We hope to see a variety of birds in addition to great views of the Bay. We’ll meet at the Bay Trail entrance at the Baylands Athletic Center at 10:45am.
Celebrate Earth Day with us!
Celebrate Committee for Green Foothills’ very own Lennie Roberts and her decades of advocacy with Committee for Green Foothills. On the summer solstice, join us to hear about the epic 40-year campaign that culminated with the Devil’s Slide tunnel and help us unveil a new interpretive panel featuring Lennie.
Ever hike under the stars and a full moon? Committee for Green Foothills’ members*, join us for an moderately strenuous 4-mile evening hike in Coyote Valley Open Space Preserve with Craige Edgerton, long-time open space advocate. If we time it right, you’ll catch the sun setting just as the moon is rising.
Dogs are not permitted.
