Author Talk and Book Signing: Lynn Stegner’s “The Half-Life of Guilt”

Green Foothills invites you to Lynn Stegner’s The Half-Life of Guilt: Author Talk and Book Signing, the second event in our Lynn Stegner Book Series, on Saturday, October 24 from 12:00-1:30 p.m. at Bloomhouse, 2555 Pulgas Ave, East Palo Alto.

This event will feature acclaimed author Lynn Stegner in conversation with Green Foothills donors and supporters. This special event offers a rare opportunity to hear a live reading from her newest novel, “The Half-Life of Guilt,” followed by a guided discussion and audience Q&A exploring the book’s themes, including place, memory, and our connection to the natural world.

The program will include approximately 30 minutes of reading and conversation with the author, followed by a Q&A with attendees. You can also enjoy light refreshments and mingle with the rest of the Green Foothills community.

We encourage guests to have read all or most of “The Half-Life of Guilt” in advance of this event to fully participate in the discussion and enjoy a deeper conversation with the author.

This in-person gathering is the second event in our Lynn Stegner Book Series, following the virtual kickoff meeting in August. Together, these events offer a chance to explore the novel’s themes from first impressions to deeper reflection, while connecting with fellow supporters of Green Foothills.
