As a member* of Committee for Green Foothills, be the first to visit Tunitas Creek Beach before it’s open to the public.
The morning will begin with a stop at the historic Johnston House with Legislative Advocate Lennie Roberts to learn about how the San Mateo Coast became what it is today through decades of advocacy. Then we’ll head to Tunitas Creek Beach where the Peninsula Open Space Trust will relay its history and acquisition while we enjoy a lovely picnic. Lunch will be catered by San Benito Deli. Don’t forget to bring a picnic blanket and/or beach chairs.
*Members are those who have made a donation to Committee for Green Foothills in the last year.
