Join Committee for Green Foothills and Latino Outdoors to see spring wildflowers that thrive on the rare serpentine soil habitat of Coyote Ridge. Craige Edgerton, longtime open space advocate, will teach us about this important habitat. This strenuous 5 mile round trip hike has a steady 2 mile climb and will gain 900 feet in elevation to the ridge with amazing wildflowers and unforgettable views of Coyote Valley. Over lunch, you will learn about our conservation efforts for Coyote Valley and about Latino Outdoors’ mission and their organization. Please bring a bag lunch. This hike is unshaded.
