It’s Easy to Leave a Legacy With FreeWill

We believe in a future where wildlife and communities thrive and live in balance together. Green Foothills continues to champion the open spaces, farmlands, and natural resources in San Mateo and Santa Clara Counties for the benefit of all through advocacy, education, and grassroots action. It’s your loyal support and generosity that make this possible.

To thank you for supporting the future of Green Foothills, I want to introduce a resource to protect your own future: an online tool to write your legal will or trust, at no personal cost.

I know this isn’t the type of resource you’re used to seeing from Green Foothills, but estate planning is an important task and an easy way to support the people you love. We share this resource as a way for you to protect your family, get peace of mind, and create a plan for your future — just as your support has planned for the future of our wildlife and natural resources.

This free tool is a result of our partnership with FreeWill, which has been featured in Forbes and Oprah’s 31 Best Ways to Make a Difference. We partnered with FreeWill because it removes the expensive legal fees associated with writing a will, making estate planning free and accessible for all, and has been used by over 250,000 Americans to write their free wills.

It can also be used to create an optional legacy gift. Legacy gifts support our natural habitats and wildlife for generations to come, and cost nothing today. Whether or not you make this gift, know that this resource is completely free to use.
