Please join us virtually on October 3 from 5:00 – 6:30 p.m. for our 18th annual celebration honoring Blanca Alvarado and Rod Diridon, Sr. For more than half a century, these two former Santa Clara County Supervisors have dared to blaze trails that have profoundly shaped the county’s landscape leaving an enduring legacy of environmental protection and stewardship.
As part of this virtual celebration, we’ll enjoy a pre-recorded message and musical performance from Grammy award-winning Indigo Girls, a live after party performance from Raul Pacheco of Ozomatli, and prominent local leaders throughout the event. The event will include a silent online auction with chances to win exclusive getaways and instant wine cellars. Every sponsorship and $150 ticket purchase includes a voucher to pick up a delicious locally-made pie (vegan and gluten free options available).
Green Foothills leverages our annual celebration to highlight and support tribes and community-based organizations. We have selected the following four entities to receive 5% of proceeds generated through Nature’s Inspiration: the Muwekma Ohlone Tribe of the San Francisco Bay Area, Ayudando Latinos A Soñar (ALAS), Rotary Club of San Jose Climate Action Committee, and ¡Sí Se Puede! Collective.
Sponsorship Still Needed
We are so grateful to our current sponsors! Sponsorships are still needed and greatly appreciated. See current list of sponsors and learn more about sponsorship opportunities at greenfoothills.org/natures-inspiration.
Silent Auction Item Donations Welcome
We are pleased to once again feature our popular silent auction as part of Nature’s Inspiration. Local Treasures helps generate proceeds in support of our mission by offering unique and valuable items for bid. We welcome additional in-kind donations such as fine wine, great art or literature, a vacation getaway idea, or other special items. Please go to this link to submit your potential auction donation online for review by our auction committee. Contact Development Director Will Wyman at [email protected] if you have any questions.
