Speak Up for Wetlands & Access along the Bay

For the first time ever, the California State Lands Commission (SLC) is considering the Public Trust Needs for an undeveloped 9-acre property along the Burlingame bayfront.

On Thursday, March 22, the SLC held a public meeting about the issue. Over 70 people sent comments through our website, and 20 people came to the meeting to speak up for restoration, resilient design in the face of sea level rise, and improved public access at the site. We expect the SLC to vote on the fate of the site at their meeting on June 21. We’ll keep you posted as this issue moves forward. You can also read more on our project page.
