POST’s Celebrating Women in the Outdoors: Leadership in Conservation

Peninsula Open Space Trust, and Sports Basement of Redwood City are proud to join together for an enriching and inspiring evening of presentations by four incredible women including our Executive Director Megan Fluke. Each speaker is from a local conservation organization, and they are so excited to share their journeys of leadership with you! There will also be several other non-profit organizations hosting tables – this is a great opportunity to find out more about local conservation efforts, sign up to volunteer at amazing non-profits, and free snacks, beers, and beverages. This completely free event is great for all ages. Each presentation is approximately 15 minutes long, with a Q&A panel at the end.

Speakers include: Megan Fluke, Executive Director of Green Foothills, Yiwei Wang, Executive Director of San Francisco Bay Bird Observatory, Ana Maria Ruiz, General Manager of Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District, Ofelia Bello, Executive Director of Youth United for Community Action.
