Executive Director Megan Fluke will moderate the Climate Action and Environmental Policy panel and we will also be tabling at the event.
Santa Clara County Supervisor Cindy Chavez hosts the 2nd Women’s Leadership Policy Summit an it will be a day of engagement, empowerment, and education on important policy issues affecting our communities with many special guests including Congresswoman Zoe Lofgren! Learn, hear from, and engage in dialogue with a panel of diverse experts and those with lived experience to engage in and discuss actionable next steps on the following issues:
- The State of Women’s Health
- Reproductive Rights and Justice
- Ending Violence Against Women
- Relationship between Women and Homeless
- Gun Safety Regulation
- Climate Action and Environmental Policy
- Men and Women: Lean in or Out
- Navigating the Demands of Career and Caregiving
- Health and Wellness in Youth: Mental Health and Anti-Vaping Campaigns (this will be a panel of some amazing active youth leaders!)
- Mentorship: Building the Pipeline
- And a lunch panel on Leadership Skills
Breakfast, lunch, childcare and a resource fair will all be included and the event is completely free to attendees.
