8 Big Moments of 2019

We asked a lot of you this year. You signed petitions, sent letters, collected signatures, attended meetings, and donated generously. You made a difference. 150+ people joined us at a Half Moon Bay City Council meeting as we submitted 4,680 signatures opposing a luxury hotel and RV park adjacent to Dunes Beach

With Save the Bay, Citizens Committee to Complete the Refuge, and Bay Keeper, we sued the Trump Administration in response to giving up Clean Water Act jurisdiction over the Cargill salt ponds in Redwood City

After our extensive effort to garner public support that included gathering 2,000+ petition signatures, the State Lands Commission approved the Burlingame Shoreline Park

November 6, 2019

After 40 years of advocacy, we celebrated the permanent protection of 937 acres of land in Coyote Valley

I am proud of what we do at Committee for Green Foothills. Together we are creating a region that will serve as a model for how a community can thrive as a result of land use decisions made in balance with and respect for nature.
