Celebrating You with Creative Writing and Music

In appreciation of Green Foothills’ most dedicated members, we invite the Stegner Giving Circle (generous people who have contributed $500 or more since January 1, 2019) and the Mary Davey Legacy Society (wonderful people who have included Green Foothills in their planned giving) to pour yourself a bubbly drink or glass of wine and let’s gather together for a relaxing evening.

Joining us will be Lynn Stegner, a member of the Stegner Giving Circle, who will read a piece by her father-in-law and our Founding Board President, Wallace Stegner, and guide us in a nature-based creative writing activity. Lynn is a novelist, short story, and conservation writer. Among many awards, she has won Faulkner, Raymond Carver, and New York Times Editors’ Choice Awards, and received National Endowment for the Arts and Fulbright fellowships.

Mary Davey Legacy Society member and accomplished pianist and author, Maureen Draper, will share a few words along with hand selected music for us to enjoy as we write.
