Our response to COVID-19

Last Friday the County of Santa Clara released a coronavirus guidance statement banning gatherings of 35 to 100 people unless certain conditions are met. We are expecting similar action from the County of San Mateo

Green Foothills has decided to not hold any gatherings for the time being and our team will be working remotely effective today. This means our Mary Davey Legacy Social on 3/28 have been cancelled. We hope to be able to reschedule these events soon.

This is an evolving situation. For the time being, we encourage you to schedule some hikes for yourself and your family if you are all feeling well. Based on everything we have read, this is a safe activity for individuals and very small groups. In fact, getting out into nature can help reduce anxiety and might even boost your immune system.

We have worked together for nearly 60 years to protect nature close to home, so please enjoy the fruits of our labor if possible. You can visit the websites below for guidance for where you can get outside.

To unite our community during this time when we can’t physically be together, we encourage you to share photos from your outings on social media* with hashtags: #GreenFoothills #stayhealthy.

As always, we are thankful for your ongoing support.

Stay healthy,
