Healing in Nature Series: Coyote Ridge

Unfortunately, this event is full. Please take a look at our events calendar for other opportunities.

In celebration of our 60th anniversary, we invite the Green Foothills community to come together and spend time outdoors. Join us at Coyote Ridge Open Space Preserve with local healers who have curated a meditative drawing activity atop the ridge among the wildflowers. To get there, we’ll walk a 3-mile trail to see amazing native wildflowers that thrive in the rare serpentine soil habitat of this special place with the guidance of a docent. Experience unforgettable views of Coyote Valley with possible sightings of tule elk, coyote, Golden and Bald Eagles, Peregrine Falcon, and the critter responsible for the preservation of Coyote Ridge, the federally threatened Bay checkerspot butterfly. Over lunch, you will learn the story of the successful conservation efforts to preserve Coyote Valley. Please bring a bag lunch. This hike is unshaded.

With the support of wonderful people like you, we can protect nature and wildlife, save farmland, and secure more equitable access to open space for everyone, close to home. If you are not already a donor, we ask that you act local, give local with a tax-deductible donation today.

Note: Regardless of vaccination status, we will be following all county health guidelines
