Healing in Nature Series: Ravenswood

In celebration of our 60th anniversary, we invite the Green Foothills community to come together and spend time outdoors. Join us at Cooley Landing at Ravenswood Open Space Preserve, with local healers who have curated a restorative meditation, for you and the earth. Afterward we’ll explore the Cooley Landing nature preserve, which rests on the edge of San Francisco Bay, on an easy, flat, mostly paved 3-mile Bay Trail walk through salt marsh habitat with the guidance of a docent. It’s a great chance to see winter migrant birds stop along the Pacific Flyway, so bring your binoculars and a spotting scope if you have them. You’ll also learn why we have teamed up with East Palo Alto residents to support their response to potentially harmful development plans in East Palo Alto.

With the support of wonderful people like you, we can protect nature and wildlife, save farmland, and secure more equitable access to open space for everyone, close to home. If you are not already a donor, we ask that you act local, give local with a tax-deductible donation today.

Note: Regardless of vaccination status, we will be following all county health guidelines
