Biography

Alice oversees the Advocacy Program’s priorities, strategies, and campaigns, as well as engaging directly in advocacy efforts, particularly in Coyote Valley and elsewhere in Santa Clara County. Alice began her service with Green Foothills in 2010 as a Board member before joining staff in 2012 as a Legislative Advocate and transitioning to her current role in 2017. She serves on the Santa Clara Valley Habitat Agency Public Advisory Committee, the Stanford Community Resource Group, and the Redwood City Parks, Recreation and Community Services Commission.

Prior to joining Green Foothills, Alice was with the Environmental Law Foundation in Oakland, where she litigated cases under various environmental laws including Proposition 65 and the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act. She holds a J.D. from the University of California College of the Law San Francisco (formerly Hastings College of the Law). In her leisure time, she can usually be found hiking, cooking complicated new recipes, or reading books from previous centuries.
